Total revenue amounts to HK$4,748 million

Profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$463 million

Interim dividend per share of HK5.0 cents

(13 August 2026, Hong Kong) — CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (“CITIC Telecom” or the “Group”; stock code: 1883) has recorded profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$463 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026 (the “Period”) (first half of 2025: HK$461 million), representing a slight increase of 0.4% year-on-year. Excluding the impact of investment properties revaluation, profit decreased by 0.9% year-on-year.

Total revenue of the Group amounted to HK$4,748 million, down 1.2% year-on-year. Telecommunications services revenue increased by HK$6 million to HK$4,078 million compared with the corresponding period last year. The increase was due to the growth in revenue from mobile services and international telecommunications services, but was partially offset by the drop in revenue from internet services, enterprise solutions and fixed line services. Basic earnings per share was HK12.5 cents, the same as the corresponding period last year. The Board declared an interim dividend of HK5.0 cents per share for 2026 (first half of 2025: HK6.0 cents).

Mr. LUO Xicheng, Chairman of CITIC Telecom, said, “In the first half of 2026, the global economic environment continues to undergo deep restructuring, with complexity and uncertainty intertwined. Meanwhile, a new wave of technological revolution is surging, with frontier innovations such as AI and next-generation information technology accelerating iteration and reshaping the industrial landscape, while market competition in the information and communications industry is becoming increasingly fierce. In this regard, the Group adheres to ‘international development and technological leadership’, systematically advances the implementation of its strategic framework, consolidates its business foundation, and strives to enhance the quality of development. Our operating results are robust and improving, with new growth of drivers and competitive advantages gradually taking shape. We are steadily advancing towards ‘becoming a leading digitalised and intelligentised comprehensive telecommunications enterprise in Asia Pacific’.”

Business Highlight

During the Period, the Group completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Hutchison Telephone (Macau) Company Limited (“Hutchison Macau”), boosting its mobile business market share and strengthening its competitiveness in the Macau market. As of the end of June 2026, the total user base reached approximately 914,000, with 5G penetration at approximately 93%. The Group accelerated high-speed internet upgrade in Macau, fully constructing 5.5G mobile networks and F5.5G fixed-line “dual-gigabit” infrastructure, upgraded eSIM services, and deepening 5.5G private network applications across various industries in Macau, comprehensively enhancing users’ digital and intelligent living experience and supporting the high-quality development of Macau’s digital economy.

Mobile sales and services revenue was HK$1,280 million, broadly stable year-on-year (first half of 2025: HK$1,283 million). Mobile services revenue grew 11.3% year-on-year to HK$610 million, mainly attributable to the consolidation of Hutchison Macau’s results and successful promotional activities, which resulted in growth in postpaid revenue, prepaid revenue and outbound roaming revenue. Meanwhile, driven by the steady growth of the tourism industry in Macau, inbound roaming revenue also recorded an increase.

The Group continued to consolidate its position as a telecommunications service hub. International telecommunications services revenue rose 3.5% year-on-year to HK$1,390 million. During the Period, the Group drove the architectural evolution of “DataMall自由行” platform and optimised 5G coverage, advanced the SIMN platform towards 5G SA services, deepened IPX service cooperation with major Chinese Mainland operators and Asia-Pacific operators, and optimised the IoT management platform with diversified services including eSIM, thereby strengthening the differentiated competitiveness of cross-border data services. “DataMall 自由行” services revenue continued to grow, increasing 32.0% year-on-year to HK$99 million.

The Group continued to optimise its global backbone network, completing capacity expansions and construction of multiple routes including hubs such as Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai to improve connectivity along the “Belt and Road” routes. Multiple digital intelligence and network security projects were implemented in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, covering public services, education and retail. In Singapore, the Group successfully won a benchmark project to provide integrated IT services for a renowned local university. In the Philippines, the Group continued to expand the coverage of internet service provider (ISP) services, effectively raising regional market penetration. The Group also actively advanced Asia-Pacific business expansion and accelerated the rollout of key products including SmartCLOUD™ C-Compute, SD-WAN and SASE.

Deepening AI integration to build growth potential. The Group accelerated the development of “AI Macau” and successfully deployed benchmark government and enterprise projects including AI-powered translation transparent screens and big data statistical analysis. It deeply implemented the integrated “AI + Cloud, Network, Security” strategy and enhanced the AI-driven Security Operations Center (AI SOC), centred on SIEM-MiiND (“星智神盾”) services, steadily improving the standardisation and intelligence of information security services to support enterprises “Going Global” and “Bringing In”.

Leveraging the building and operating of the CITIC HK AI Innovation Center, we have capitalised on the research strengths of Hong Kong universities to drive collaborative R&D in industrial intelligence and digital-smart communications, promoted the implementation of multiple industry-university-research innovation projects. The Group signed a memorandum of understanding on AI cooperation with Guangxi Data Group and China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd., focusing on collaboration in computing power operations and cross-border data flows, and is actively promoting the establishment of the “Macau Data and AI International Cooperation Service Center” in Macau.
