Multi-tier Cloud Security System (MTCS)
certification, to demonstrate SmartCLOUD™ cloud computing service achievedSingapore Standard for
multi-tiered cloud computing security.
The Multi-Tier Cloud Security (MTCS SS 584) Singapore Standard
is the world’s first cloud security standard that covers multiple tiers of
cloud security. This standard promote clarity around the security service
levels of cloud providers while also increasing the level of accountability and transparency of cloud service provider.
With the MTCS SS 584, certified CSPs like CITIC Telecom CPC
will be able to better spell out the levels of security that they can offer to
their customers. Certified CSPs can better managed customer’s concerns about
the security and confidentiality of data in the cloud and the impact of on
businesses of using cloud. The MTCS SS584 will facilitate the matching of
security needs between companies in ASEAN and cloud service provider. Covered
areas includes data retention, data sovereignty, data portability, liability,
availability, BCP (Business Continuity)/DR (Disaster Recovery), incident and
problem management.
