CITIC Telecom debuts at the 2026 Guangxi Tour for International Enterprises Conference

Unveils Three Unique Advantages to Empower

Guangxi-ASEAN AI Industry Cooperation

Hong Kong, 9th July 2026 – CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (“CITIC Telecom” or the “Group”; stock code: 1883), a leading multinational internet-oriented telecommunications services enterprise in the Asia Pacific, actively participated in the 2026 Guangxi Tour for International Enterprises Conference co-hosted by CITIC Group and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Under the theme “Intelligence Converges in Guangxi, Connects the World – Co-creating a New Ecology of International Industrial Cooperation”, the event builds a platform for precise matchmaking between global resources and Guangxi’s industries. It brought together more than 220 enterprises from 30 countries and regions, serving as a platform to link global resources with local industries in Guangxi. During the event, CITIC Telecom signed two key cooperation agreements at the Industrial Cooperation Conference and launched an integrated cross-border AI and computing power solution, further deepening its strategic footprint in artificial intelligence and cross-border digital intelligence services by leveraging cross-border data compliance and localized Southeast Asian operations, demonstrating its digital and intelligent strength to uphold the service brand of “CITIC, your trusted partner for going global and coming to China".

CEO Wu Jun Elaborates on Three Unique Advantages to Advance Guangxi-ASEAN AI Cooperation

Wu Jun, Chief Executive Officer of CITIC Telecom, delivered a keynote presentation on data and AI-empowered industrial cooperation and cross-border digital services at the conference, and outlined three unique advantages of the Group:

First, a Hong Kong-Macao characteristic platform delivers compliance services for cross-border data flows. Mr. Wu noted that cross-border data service platforms are a core foundational pillar for AI global expansion, while cross-border data compliance remains a shared industry challenge. Building on its established presence in Hong Kong and Macao, CITIC Telecom is jointly developing the Macao Data and Artificial Intelligence International Cooperation Service Center with relevant Guangxi authorities, to establish a cross-border data compliance service platform that facilitates smoother data flows between Guangxi and ASEAN economies. As a demonstration zone for the successful practice of the “One Country, Two Systems” principle, Macao holds a unique strategic position as a Sino-Portuguese platform and benefits from a sound legislative environment. CTM, the Group’s subsidiary and Macao’s largest telecommunications operator and technology services provider, will supply critical local resource support for the center’s launch and operation.

Second, localized service capabilities enable Guangxi’s AI-related application deployment. With on-the-ground footprint and operational expertise across ASEAN markets, CITIC Telecom provides end-to-end integrated services for Guangxi enterprises entering ASEAN – from upfront market research to post-launch business operations – offering full-spectrum support for Guangxi’s AI-related enterprises to “go global”. Acclivis, the Group’s subsidiary and a leading local digital transformation service provider in Southeast Asia, operates local subsidiaries in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and other markets. Staffed by fully localized professional teams with deep knowledge of local business norms, laws, regulations and industry pain points, it serves as a trusted “local navigator” for Chinese AI enterprises and products overseas, resolving the “last mile” localization barrier.

Third, the strategic synergy of CITIC Group. Leveraging CITIC Group’s integrated “finance + industry” platform, CITIC Telecom not only provides diversified financial support for enterprises, but also consolidates industrial resources to deliver comprehensive solutions, empowering enterprises across the board in the rollout and upgrading of AI applications.

Two Key Cooperation Agreements Signed to Strengthen Guangxi-ASEAN AI and Computing Capabilities Strategy

At the Industrial Cooperation Conference, CITIC Telecom signed two key cooperation agreements with two significant partners:

“Secure Large Model Service Platform for Guangxi Enterprises” Project (in cooperation with Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd.) This is an innovative enterprise-grade AI comprehensive solution built on the core capabilities of CITIC Telecom’s self-developed token utility service platform, integrated with Volcano Engine’s full-stack large model technology and computing resources. It integrates public cloud elastic token resources, mainstream large models, industry vertical models and enterprise agent applications. Through technologies including sandbox computing, confidential computing, virtual private cloud and obfuscated computing, providing enterprises with a secure, compliant and efficient AI application base while lowering the barrier to AI transformation.

“Southeast Asia Computing Power Leasing and Business Cooperation” Project (in cooperation with Nanyi International (Hong Kong) Co., Limited) This project will further enhance CITIC Telecom’s computing resource scheduling capabilities spanning China and Southeast Asia, providing robust computing infrastructure support for Chinese enterprises expanding into ASEAN markets. Acclivis, the Group’s leading local digital transformation subsidiary in Southeast Asia, will act as a key strategic vehicle to continuously deliver end-to-end full-stack DICT (Digital, Information, Communications, Technology) services for enterprises of all types. Backed by international low-latency networks such as the Guangxi-Macao dedicated line, it guarantees cross-border transmission latency of ≤80 milliseconds, enabling high-concurrency, low-latency cross-border computing power access.

CITIC Telecom is actively transforming into a comprehensive AI service provider. Going forward, the Group will continue to build on its Hong Kong-Macao compliance strengths, Southeast Asian localized service capabilities and CITIC Group’s synergistic resources. Aligned with Guangxi’s positioning as a hub for ASEAN-facing AI international cooperation, the group will cultivate the service brand of “CITIC, your trusted partner for going global and coming to China”, supporting the introduction of overseas enterprises into Guangxi and empower local AI firms to expand into ASEAN. The Group will leverage its digital and intelligent strengths to foster a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future, while injecting new momentum to help more partners “invest in China and succeed in China”.
