The worst passwords of 2018 show the need for better practices

According to the statistics, each netizen currently needs to manage more than 200 account passwords and is expected to rise to more than 400 in 5 years. It is not easy to memorize all the passwords. According to SplashData's the Worst Passwords of 2018 report, netizens often use weak passwords that are easy to hack, the same password for years, or across multiple accounts, which create loopholes for hackers. Protecting the password is everyone’s responsibility, especially in an organization. No matter how secured the network is, a serious security vulnerability will be caused simply through a non-secured password. To develop good password management habits, change passwords regularly and avoid using the same password for multiple accounts. In addition, all accounts must be set with strong passwords which contain more than 8 digits with mixed characters, numbers, and symbols. To ensure a high data security is not only the responsibility of the company, but also the cooperation of each employee.
