【專訪】有乜嘢動力驅使Digital Transformation加快?

Digital Transformation 當然不是甚麼新事物，不過，近年各企業嘅 Digital Transformation 明顯極速加快步伐，背後有乜嘢動力驅使？另外，一帶一路為大家帶來乜嘢商機？剛剛完結嘅 CITIC Telecom CPC Solutions Day，正好請來幾位業界專家，分享對此課題嘅睇法。

Digital Transformation 之極速傳說

「近年的 Digital Transformation 快了很多，以往我們認為不可能發生的事，今日已經發生了。例如 5 年前沒想過可以實現無現金社會。」Daniel Kwong 認為，快速嘅原因，是科技的推動。「現在常說的 AI、Blockchain、Cloud 等，即是 Gartner 說的 IDM（Intelligent Digital Mesh），這些技術已經進入民用階段。」

「乜都雲」嘅年代

上雲絕對是企業進行 Digital Transformation 嘅第一關，VMware 剛於香港推出全方位雲端服務，Keith Chan 指出，要令 digital adoption 更快、門檻更低，雲的管理其實非常重要：「我們積極配合企業上雲的需求，建立一套management tool，可以處理 Cloud 的 work load。我們專注三個主要領域：AI、IoT、Blockchain。尤其 IoT，我們有產品幫企業收集資料，並於Cloud 上整合，由 Private 到 Public Cloud、Hybird Cloud，並已做好加密，確保安全。」另外 Daniel 更建議企業用 Multi-Cloud Strategy：「一來減低及分散風險，另外，Multi-Cloud 可以有更多據點，方便拓展商機；而且，不同雲供應商有不同特點及強項，Multi-Cloud 可以利用各種雲的優點，更靈活。」

化據點成優點

中國提出「一帶一路」呢單大茶飯之際，CITIC Telecom CPC 又「剛巧」於沿路拓展業務。「2016 年，公司見亞洲業務成熟，正想衝出亞洲，認識了Linx，大家的 business model 相似，他們將西歐與東歐連接，我們將亞洲南北連接。2017 年我們決定收購 Linx。」忽然於歐洲增加了 13 個據點及 24 個 port，據點立即成為優點。「例如一家企業要在匈牙利建 Data Center，就很需要我們幫忙，我們可以在兩星期內辦到。」呢單大茶飯，絕對需要不同單位幫忙，例如 Cloud Service，又例如 SD-WAN。

新時代的入口，SD-WAN

Riverbed 的 SD-WAN 於業界數一數二，尤其於 Digital Transformation，Eric Chan 指出轉用 SD-WAN 等於進入一個新時代。「E-channel 的興起加快了 Digital Transformation，Mobile Device 又令 Channel 更 reachable。但Network Technology 在這二十年的改變很小，現在要用新技術如 SD-WAN 去幫助。」Lim Wong 再補充：「傳統 Router 並未看見 Application，SD-WAN 就可以，如此就可以享受 Hybird Network 的高效、保持 End User Experience 良好、管理更靈活。」以前 deploy 一個 branch，分分鐘要幾個月，用 SD-WAN，可以 15 分鐘搞掂。當然，快重要，但安全亦好重要，接下來嘅問題，就係保安。

從 Protection 到 Detection

據點多嘅優勢，Fortinet 絕對明白。Nick Ng 指出，Fortinet 嘅 AI 關鍵，是據點。「我們的 AI 最主要用於偵測 Zero Day，利用 Neural Network 進行Machine Learning，關鍵是 sample 要夠多夠豐富。Fortinet 在全球擁有最多Firewall，sample base 最大最豐富，因此，Prediction 準確度很高。」運用AI 後，準確度可以由傳統 signature 嘅百份之五十幾提升至百份之七十幾，update 速度大幅加快，最快可於幾分鐘完成。「另外，IoT 是現在最大的問題之一，市面有太多 IoT，需要更好的保安處理。所以我們收購了 BradFord Networks，主力 IoT。」據 Gartner 估計，到 2021 年，全球 IoT 數量將超過 90 億台。加入 BradFord 後，Fortinet 已有能力自動識別 1,500 種不同Networking Device，自動建立 profile 及設定保安策略。IoT 絕對是Transformation 的必然趨勢，Fortinet 此舉極具前瞻性。

從文化角度看一帶一路

「其實技術並不一定最重要，我們在一帶一路發揮的作用更在文化上。」被譽為「21 世紀海上絲綢之路」，一帶一路原來除了經濟，連文化交流都有當年的影子。「因為不同地區有不同的文化、不同 compliance，而我們在每個據點都有相關的經驗、人脈及資源，可以幫助溝通，幫忙企業拓展業務。」企業，特別是跨國企業於 Digital Transformation 進程中，最常碰釘的可能不是技術問題，而是文化差異，所以選擇合適嘅 Service Provider 先係關鍵，當中的學問原來絕不簡單！
